My designs generally come from a spark of inspiration<\/em><\/strong>;<\/em> a moment in time that\u2019s stayed with me that I later draw and upload on to a carefully selected product.<\/p>

This story, however, comes from love, loss and a cat <\/strong>who changed my life!<\/p>

The Product<\/strong><\/h3>

Just Peeking <\/em>is a minimalist illustration of a cat with a heart-shaped nose peeking around the corner, to see if it\u2019s safe to go outside. Printed on a soft, oat-coloured organic cotton tee <\/strong>for men<\/u><\/a> and women<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>

Earthy tones and simple lines make it an easy everyday essential. Vegan-friendly<\/strong> and sustainably made using renewable energy, with Teemill\u2019s circular production for lower environmental impact and lasting quality.<\/p>

The Story<\/strong><\/h3>

On the surface, it\u2019s simple, but behind that quiet image is a story that means everything to me.<\/strong><\/p>

The cat is called Simba -<\/strong> my cat, my constant companion, my world.<\/p>

I lost Simba late last year, suddenly and unexpectedly and I was heart broken. Anyone who has loved an animal deeply knows that kind of grief isn\u2019t just sadness. It\u2019s the absence of a presence that shaped your days.<\/p>

My daily routine revolved around him; his meal times, his adventure times, his sleep time. If he sat on my lap in the evenings then dinner would have to wait until he stirred. His little wispy ginger cat hairs were everywhere - and I still find them to this day! <\/em><\/strong>His endless cardboard boxes around my tiny home that he loved to try out.<\/p>

The silence he\u2019s left behind is deafening.<\/strong><\/p>

He was a very observant, curious cat. He would always check out his exit before making his next move or peek at you<\/strong> to see what you\u2019re up to.<\/p>

Those moments have become the heart of this design.<\/em><\/p>

This design is my best seller <\/strong>so far and it makes me so happy to think of his little face, out there in the world on someone\u2019s everyday essential tee. Watching the world go by as they explore<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>

Just Peeking is not about loss, it\u2019s about presence.<\/em><\/strong> About how his memory and character lives on in a simple design.<\/p>
